Hi there. How can we help you?

What is "virtual speed"?

To give you the most realistic indoor cycling experience, the Bkool Cycling simulator uses "virtual speed", an intelligent tool that accurately calculates real-world conditions to simulate your virtual speed.

You will experience this feature across a range of our routes or in the velodrome, taking into account differentiating factors such as hill gradient and wind speed to give you a more realistic reading.

For example, if you were riding on a downhill section of a route with a slight tailwind, "virtual speed" would detect these conditions and display how fast you would be travelling on the real route opposed to the speed you are producing on your static bike or smart-trainer, this data will always be displayed in blue on the simulator so you can see when the feature is in use.
